We are home, and obviously straight back into it.

Stu is busy getting all the bakes done for tomorrow’s belper food festival.

We hope to see you there. We shall be on the bridge on king street next to the bottle bank and opposite the pound land shop.

I am busy catching up on the admin work and watching the kiddos.

Yes I’ve got suncream on whilst sat doing my bit in the garden 🪴

I’ve got lots to do, but when the weather is soooo good it’s hard to get motivated.

The cake shed will be back open next Friday 😃😋😋

I’ll show you a picture of our amazing driveway once the cake shed is back in place 😃

We had a great break away at our caravan this week.

Back home and back to reality.

While we were up there we can’t help but do updates 🙈

So we built a new shed for the kids outdoor toys and also stu decorated the tv area in our family caravan.

We hope you are all enjoying your half term,
Stu will be back in the bakery tomorrow to get prepped for belper food festival on Sunday,
I shall be on daughter and mum duties, hospital trip and eye tests.

What do you want to see in the cake shed next weekend ?

I think depending on the heat, the cake shed may be open alittle later than normal, just so we avoid the morning sunshine.

Alittle bit about us

To all our new followers.
Here is alittle info about our business 💗

We once had a shop, opened in 2011 in Ripley, we had lots of staff and was very successful, unfortunately it just got too much, and we decided to close in 2018 and work from home.

We have 5 children and 3 dogs and 1 grandson 💗
We also have another business with 3 caravans at chapel st Leonards S & E caravan hire that we hire out.

We like to keep busy, but also like to take family breaks when we can.

We make any celebration cakes, including weddings, birthdays, baby showers etc.

We also attend markets, events and festivals.
We offer Postals from now and then.

We have a cake shed that we opened in Feb 2026 that is open most weekends, see fb for updates on that.

We really enjoy what we do and is what keeps a roof over our heads and supports our ever growing not so little family.

We appreciate every single sale, from just a small cake slice or a celebration cake.

You will see we do updates on the events on our page as much as we can.
Our next one being belper food festival this Sunday the 31st May 9.30-4pm on king street, we will be on the bridge next to the bottle bank.
