Our very good friend Charles Lipton is celebrating 100 years in business, supplying memorial stones across Scotland!❤️

Charles will be joining us in the lounge on Sunday 1st November with a pop-up shop, just in time for Christmas.

If you’re looking for a special way to remember a loved one no longer with us, this is a lovely opportunity to mark their grave with a lasting tribute.

Charles will be offering some fantastic deals on the day, at up to half the cost of going through a crematorium or funeral director, with all lettering included in the marked price.

Pop in, have a nosey and see what’s available! All markers will be delivered before Christmas.

A wee update for all our customers ❤️

Following today’s Budget announcement, and with no reduction in VAT for the hospitality industry, unfortunately I’ve had to make the difficult decision to increase our prices.

This is something I’ve genuinely tried to avoid for as long as possible. I’d been holding off in the hope that a VAT reduction would be announced, allowing me to keep our pints below that £4 mark for as long as I could. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened, and with supplier costs continuing to rise, I can no longer absorb these increases myself.
I know times are tough for everyone just now, and please believe me when I say this decision hasn’t been taken lightly. I’ve done everything I can to keep prices affordable for as long as possible, but to keep the pub running, a price increase has unfortunately become unavoidable. Our prices will remain competitive with other pubs and clubs in the village.

I’d also like to remind everyone that we still offer great value, with a free jukebox, Sky TV, quarter gill measure on spirits and prices that remain competitive compared with many other pubs across West Lothian.

I really appreciate the continued support from each and every one of you. We’re lucky to have such a great local community, and I hope you understand that these changes are necessary to help us keep the doors open and continue providing a place for everyone to come together.
