The Beaver Inn in Appledore North Devon, awaits your visit to the banks of the Torridge estuary, at the point where the rivers Taw and Torridge join before ending their journey across Devon to the sea. Enjoy the views over the water to Saunton sands, Braunton, Barnstaple and Instow whilst relaxing in the sunshine, on our riverside patio. Make your selection from the catch of the day, or our other

locally sourced food and our fine choice of wines, beers and real ales. Dine on the patio, or in the pub with your canine friend, or in the dining room and watch the fishing boats come in on the top of the tide, bringing home the catch of the day. Ali and Graham and all the staff at the Beaver Inn look forward to giving you a very warm welcome and will endeavour to make your visit a memory that you will want to return to again and again.

This weekend we have lots going on here at The Beaver! ✨

We have live acoustic music from Gary McCausland this Saturday evening from 9pm, a perfect soundtrack to be by the sea 🌊

On Sunday from 8pm we have Marmalade Club, an upbeat and inclusive Jam session! Whether you play an instrument, sing or just want to listen everyone is welcome to get involved! 🎤

And following on from the weekend we have QT swings here from 8pm, Monday 22nd, bringing Jazz & Blues to The Beaver!

We are hosting a mini golf tournament as part of Appledore Pride! 🪩
Come and show your putting skills whilst supporting a fantastic event, and maybe even take home the winning pot! 💰
Entry is £5 per person!
£2.50 from each entry will be donated towards the Appledore pride event, and the other £2.50 going in to the prize fund, the more entries, the bigger the win! 🥇
The event will start from 2pm, so please arrive for 1.30pm to allow a swift start!
There is a sign up sheet in the pub, however you are more than welcome to try your luck on the day! 🍀
