WHAT A NIGHT!

A huge thank you to Graham and his family for choosing NEXO to celebrate Graham’s 80th birthday with us.

It felt particularly special knowing that Graham celebrated his 50th birthday at The Ivy, the venue that is now NEXO, and that 30 years later he came back to celebrate his 80th with us. What a lovely connection. 🥂

A massive thank you to Tim, Michael and all the family for putting your trust in us and for being such a pleasure to have with us.

And a huge thank you to all our local friends and customers who came along to celebrate with Graham and support NEXO. Seeing the place full of family, friends, familiar faces and our local community made the evening really special.

Our kitchen will be closed for the private celebration, but the bar will remain open as usual.

Yesterday, one of our local family-run restaurants has been forced to close after facing countless complaints over a prolonged period. A business built through years of hard work now hangs in the balance. Tomorrow, it could be another.

The restaurants, cafés and bars that make Alcaidesa what it is are more than businesses, they’re where we celebrate, catch up with friends, support local jobs and create memories.

Our friends have been forced to close, putting a family business, its staff and everything they’ve worked for at risk.

If we don’t stand together now, what message does that send to every other local business?
