Some dishes carry a story before they even reach the table.

This is the Baked Alaska. Strawberry, lemon, meringue, torched to order. And it was her favourite.

Irene, the woman this restaurant was named after, had a gift for finding beauty in the everyday. A great meal. A glass raised with people she loved. A dessert worth lingering over.

We put this on the menu for her. Every time it leaves the kitchen, a little of that spirit goes with it.
