A MESSAGE FROM CASEY'S DINING ROOM
We would like to address a recent public post regarding an alleged automatic tipping charge at Casey's Dining Room.
We respect every customer's right to express their opinions, share their experiences, and decide whether or not they wish to leave a tip. However, we also believe it is important that information shared publicly is accurate and does not mislead others.
To clarify, our payment system does NOT force customers to leave a tip. Customers are given the option to customize the tip amount or select no tip at all before completing their payment. Leaving a tip is entirely voluntary and always remains the customer's choice.
We have evidence demonstrating how our payment system works, including the available options to adjust or skip the tip. Therefore, the suggestion that our restaurant automatically adds a tip without giving customers a choice does not accurately represent our payment process.
We are disappointed that such a serious claim was made publicly without first seeking clarification from our management. A misunderstanding can always be addressed through a simple conversation, and we would have been more than willing to explain how our payment system operates.
We work hard every day to serve our community and provide a welcoming dining experience. Our staff deserve respect, and our business deserves the same fairness and respect that we extend to every customer.
To our valued customers: Please know that tipping at Casey's Dining Room is completely optional. You are always free to choose your tip amount, customize it, or leave no tip.
