We have a few exhibitor spaces remaining for organizations that provide programs, services, resources, or supports for seniors, youth, and families in our community. It's a wonderful opportunity to connect with residents, share what you do, and build valuable community relationships.

A strong show of community support made a real difference last night. Thank you to everyone who took the time to attend Sooke Council and stand behind the Sooke Gathering Place.

Filling the room sent a clear message, and it mattered—the vote to place the Sooke Gathering Place on the ballot in the next election was successful.

For those who may be unfamiliar, this will take the form of a plebiscite—a community vote that gives residents the opportunity to have their say directly on this important project.

On behalf of Nicky Logins, Mary Dunn and the team at SRCHN, and the entire SGP Fundraising Committee, THANK YOU! Your presence, your voices, and your commitment helped move this forward.

We are now entering the next phase: ensuring the broader community understands what the Sooke Gathering Place is, why it matters, and the importance of voting yes when the time comes.
