Good morning All! The soups today from the master chef Jenny are a lovely Tuscan Tomato and a Chunky Ham and Green Pea. That said, Jenny has some really big news. It should come as no surprise that our frozen pie sales are on the rise. They have pretty much doubled in the last few months and the big news is that we are moving to a bigger, really modern bakery! But Jenny's Country Pantry and Tea Shoppe will still be here and Jenny's beautiful smile will often be here to greet you, and of course our pies will still be available both here in the tea room an over at Western Foods, both here in Sooke and in Langford. A large and very fine distributor has agreed to take on our deliveries, giving us more time to keep the home fires burning! I will keep all informed as this change comes about. Have a great day and enjoy the sunshine, and Oh yes, come on over and have one of Jenny's wonderful offerings!

Well Folks, I think it is time to admit the summer has gone! All this wet weather and cold biting winds brings to mind the hot chocolate, wonderful hot soups and munchies Mother used to make. Come try the hot chocolate, not that horrid stuff made with hot water but with hot rich milk and a shot of steaming cream in each cup.Enjoy one of Jenny's great soups and forget the storm outside! Today we have cream of mushroom (one of my favourites) and also a curry/pumpkin. Finish with a wonderful ham and brie panini. Or just visit , and enjoy the chat and hot coffee or tea. Just so you know, if the coffee is with a meal or even a snack, it is on us. How about that!!
PS I am going to try and remember to annouce the soup of the day each morning! Have a great day!

2. Part time/Full time server for the pantry: food safe is a must as well, followed by great customer service. Please come hand in a resume if you or someone you know would make a good fit.
