Well, we really had no choice. One of our own is getting married today, and wouldn't ya know, we were all invited.

We couldn't pick and choose who would be given the day off to celebrate, so we gave everyone the day off!

You can still catch us at the Qualicum Beach Farmers Market this morning, 8:30 - noon.

We are open tomorrow, Sunday September 27th at 11:30am and will be open later, until 9pm becuase we have a Punks on Port show up on the patio Sunday evening.

Meet the potato that went a little overboard. And honestly… we respect it. 😂

A buttery baked potato loaded with our house-made chili, jalapeños, melty cheese, sour cream, chives & crispy bacon bits. 🔥🥓🧀

And because apparently one potato wasn’t enough, it comes with a side of golden chips + our SIGNATURE HOUSE DIP for maximum dipping potential.

FRESH HOPS BREW DAY!

The b**r is in the tank, happily fermenting away!

We went out to The Cabin at Shannon Farms to do our yearly hops harvest; what kind of hops are they? Who knows! They are Shannon Farms Hops, and that means they are going to be just as delicious as ever!

We crafted a small batch of our bottle conditioned b**r, Field of Creams, which included honey and fresh hops from the farm, orange peel, candied ginger, and coriander.

It takes 6-7 weeks for this b**r to be ready to drink since the carbonation is dependent on bottle conditioning.

Special thanks to Tanya, Ty, Josh, a few kids, and the puppy, Rex, for helping get those hops out of the forest!

Some people might be saying summer is over, but we at Dog wanna say WOOF THAT!

Come catch some rays on the patio and dig into our new special: Pineapple Prawn Fried Rice.

We loaded this bowl with roasted pineapple, cashews, edamame, red pepper, white onion, a healthy dose of curry, and big ol’ prawns tossed in our super secret chili lime marinade. It’s this week only — and just like summer, it won’t last long 😉
