🔥 GRATEFUL TO SERVE THOSE WHO SERVE OUR COMMUNITIES ❤️
We’re incredibly honoured to have our recent BC Wildfire Service deployment featured by Castanet Kamloops.
When the call came, the Hungryysh team mobilized on short notice and headed to Clinton to support the firefighters working on the front lines of the Pear Lake wildfire.
For four intense days, our team worked around the clock — serving 450+ firefighters per meal and more than 1,400 meals each day, including breakfast, packed lunches and dinner.
There were long days, smoke, changing conditions and plenty of challenges behind the scenes — but seeing firefighters come back after incredibly demanding shifts and being able to provide them with a fresh, filling meal made every hour worth it.
The comments and appreciation we received from the crews meant more to our team than we can put into words.
This recognition belongs to our entire Hungryysh team. ❤️
You stepped up when it mattered, worked incredibly long hours, adapted to every challenge and made sure the crews were taken care of.
And most importantly, thank you to the firefighters and emergency response personnel protecting our communities. We were fortunate to play a small part in supporting the people doing the truly difficult work.
Thank you Castanet Kamloops for sharing our story.
Hungryysh — Ready to Serve. Ready to Mobilize. Ready When It Matters. 🔥🍽️
Manmeet Sra was surprised by the sights he saw around Clinton while in the fire ravaged community last month to dole out meals to hungry firefighters on the front lines of the Pear Lake wildfire last month.
