In celebration of Italian Heritage Month this June, Kamloops Film Society is presenting The Last One for the Road (Le città di pianura) at Paramount Theatre.

Alongside our friends from the Can-Ital Ladies Society, the Colombo Lodge is proud to help bring another celebration of Italian culture and community to Kamloops. 🇮🇹

The film follows two broke, bar-hopping fiftysomethings and a shy architecture student on a chaotic road trip through the Venetian plains filled with misadventures, unexpected friendship, and plenty of humour and heart. This Italian film will be screened with English subtitles.

Tonight we celebrate 33 years of the Colombo Lodge on Lorne Street ✨🇮🇹

Before tonight’s celebration begins, we’re looking back at where it all started with a few retro photos from the original ribbon cutting and building opening.

For 33 years, these walls have been filled with celebrations, dances, fundraiser nights, and countless meals shared with famiglia and friends. The Colombo has become a place where the community comes together to celebrate milestones, support one another, and create memories around the table year after year.
