This isn’t about me or my family. This is for Jasper and everyone who has always supported us.
I can’t find the words to properly thank each and every one of you for these amazing years. You’ve watched us grow, learn, stumble, and succeed. I don’t think we could have achieved any of this anywhere but in Jasper, the absolute best community.
To all the heroes out there ensuring we have something to come back to, thank you. We could never repay you for what you’re doing, but you will forever be in our hearts.
Eight years of Elk Village: tacos, fundraisers, art galleries, weddings, staff parties, tour groups, group rides—we did it all.
To all the staff who became part of my family, each one of you helped make Elk Village what it became. To the locals who may have first visited us on a Taco Night and then became regulars, thank you for discovering our hidden gem outside of town.
Special thanks to the Decore brothers for welcoming me onto their beloved property and helping me create a home for my family.
Elk Village Restaurant is gone, but not its spirit, love, laughs, tacos, and hard work.
My mama raised one tough Mexican. I promise you, Jasper, we will be back, not the same, but better.
