Celebrating 45 Years of Rob Reid! 🍟❤️🎉

45 years. One incredible journey. Rob’s McDonald’s story began in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, where he started his career and, as fate would have it, met Michelle, the person who would become his partner in life and business.

In 1996, Rob took the next big step and became a McDonald’s Owner/Operator in Stephenville, Newfoundland. What started with one restaurant has grown into an incredible legacy. Today, Rob and Michelle are proud Owner/Operators of four McDonald’s restaurants in Exeter, Grand Bend, Mitchell and Kincardine.

But Rob’s impact goes far beyond the restaurants. For all of us at Team Reid, Rob has been a mentor, a leader, and someone who has always been willing to share his experience, challenge us to think differently, and help the next generation of operators and leaders grow.

He is also a true champion for the communities we are fortunate enough to serve. Whether it’s supporting local organizations, schools, hospitals, charities, or community initiatives, Rob believes strongly in giving back to the towns and people who support our restaurants every day. That commitment to being a great community partner is a huge part of the legacy he continues to build.

This week we celebrated one of our managers at Team Reid - Wendy! 🥳

Wendy started her career with McDonalds back in 1991 at the Goderich location, working as a crew member and later transferred to a London location while she attended her post-secondary education. In 1997 Wendy moved back to the area and joined Team Reid working in our Exeter location as a shift manager.

Wendy is known for her guest centric behaviour and building relationships with her guests and crew. Wendy has always been willing to help out our many locations across the market and we sure are appreciative of her flexibility.

Wendy has also been a long time leader on our Health and Safety team, making sure the restaurant is a safe place for our guests and our crew.

We wish Wendy all the best as she celebrates her 35 years with McDonald’s and are proud to have her as part of the team. Congratulations Wendy! 🎉🎈

Geoffrey is celebrating 15 years with Kincardine McDonald’s. 🎉

Geoffrey started at age 16 in 2011 and has spent much of his career working in the kitchen. For the past 12 years, he has opened the restaurant five days a week, preparing and organizing the kitchen before the day begins.

He is reliable, has attention to detail, is organized and friendly. While we’re super grateful for his dedication, positive attitude, and contributions to the team, we’re even more grateful for his sense of humour…. like always hiding Lynn’s muffin.

Thanks to the last 15 years of service, Geoffrey! We’re looking forward to many more years with you! 👏
