We went to Stable Palms Club in Kensington, Calgary for some drinks and a lil' snackie snack. I got the "ET TU, BRUTE?" cocktail and it was insane. How did they get a glass of CLEAR liquid full of frozen tomatoes to have so much flavor?! It had all the notes of a Caesar without any of the visible ingredients. Seriously, it reminded me of those candies in Charlie & the Chocolate Factory that tasted like an entire meal (anyone know what I'm talking about?). 10/10, loved this cocktail!

To munch on, we got the fries with sake aioli. They were thin and crisp, with a nice seasoning on top. The aioli was delicious too, although the fries were awesome alone.

Best part of getting married on a long weekend...a long weekend anniversary ✨❤️

We went to Major Tom to celebrate and enjoyed a beautiful view of the city. To start, we ordered a couple of Hors D'oeuvres: the Potato Donuts and Stuffed Chicken Wings. We enjoyed both, but I especially liked the wings - they were so juicy and flavorful - I could probably eat ten of them.

Both times I've gone here, I've gotten the fish (they removed the Icelandic Cod from the menu, but it was delicious), and this time I got the Alberta Trout. I would recommend it.The fish was flaky, moist, with excellent flavor surrounding it. I could've used a little more potatoes though!

My husband got the NY Striploin, it was tasty, but just slightly more cooked than what he prefers. He ordered a side of French Fries and garlic aioli on the side, these were highly addictive - whatever is in that garlic aioli is heavenly!

We also got a bottle of red to sip on. I would recommend this restaurant for a date night or a special occasion.

I've posted about them a few times over the years and it's because they stay consistently good. Nothing beats the cheese...

I've posted about them a few times over the years and it's because they stay consistently good. Nothing beats the cheese buns at Glamorgan Bakery, the best cheese buns in Calgary! I bought these a couple weeks ago when me and my homie had a picnic at Sandy Beach! Seriously, such a good addition to our spread. Might've been the star of the show 🙌🏽.

I didn't get a photo, but last weekend one of my best friends even had them as her wedding midnight snack! So delicious, especially after dancing the night away.

Shout out to Honey Pup Hard Seltzer in Lloydminster, AB for gifting me a few cans of their hard seltzers! They're a unique seltzer made from fermented honey and real fruit. They are easy to drink and my fave flavors were the Lemon Lime and Peach Mango! They just launched this summer, so give them a try 🙌🏽🍹

Every year in July, we go to the Grey Eagle Resort & Casino on Pan-Asian Night and enjoy some good food and company. I really enjoy going to this buffet, even if it's just once a year, I always look forward to it and it never disappoints. The best items are sushi, sashimi, gunkan sushi, beef short ribs, oxtail, and roasted pork (to name a few). I already can't wait for next year (hoping there is a next year, because they're closing for renovations in January).
