35 years ago, Good Earth Coffeehouse began with a simple idea: serve exceptional coffee, fresh, wholesome food, and create a place where people feel welcome. Since opening our first cafe in Calgary in 1991, that idea has grown into a community of locally owned coffeehouses across Canada. Our purpose has remained the same during this time of growth, which is to make people feel good.

Over the past 35 years, we've had the privilege of being part of your morning routines, coffee dates, lunch breaks, celebrations, and everyday moments. Whether you've been with us since the beginning or discovered us more recently, thank you for making Good Earth part of your story.

Every cup of Ocotepeque Coffee starts in a remarkable place.

Grown in the mountainous region of western Honduras, this coffee comes from an area known for its high elevations, rich biodiversity, and ideal coffee-growing conditions.

The combination of altitude, climate, and careful cultivation helps create the smooth, balanced flavour profile that makes this coffee so enjoyable.

Fun fact: this coffee was grown by APROCAOH (Asociación de Productores Cafetaleros de Occidente de Honduras), a producer cooperative in western Honduras. The photo credit belongs to the amazing people who grew our summer seasonal feature!

It's a reminder that great coffee is shaped by more than what's in your cup. It's shaped by the place it comes from ☕🌿
