Ever heard of callaloo or Kallaloo? if no, you would not be unique callaloo is a green leafy vegetable , it is also also modified to a purple variety callaloo is from the Amaranth family of plants, Kallaloo is mainly served for breakfast in Jamaica, it is paired with salted cod which is boiled to remove the salt and seasoned with wet and dried spices.
