It’s interesting that some people spend so much time watching what I’m doing instead of focusing on their own business.
I left Alert Bay and opened a new venture in Port McNeill because I wanted to grow, create new opportunities, and challenge myself as a chef. Since then, I’ve been busy serving customers, training staff, and building businesses from the ground up.
Over the past week, I have received anonymous complaints, anonymous reviews, and now anonymous comments online. If someone in Alert Bay has concerns about my food, business, or professionalism, they are welcome to speak to me directly instead of hiding behind fake accounts, anonymous messages, or laughing emojis.
What some people fail to understand is that anonymous criticism does not shake my confidence, my work ethic, or my professionalism. I have faced far bigger challenges in life and business than a few people hiding behind a keyboard.
At the end of the day, I will continue doing what I have always done: working hard, creating original dishes, supporting my staff, and serving my customers to the best of my ability.
I wish everyone success. There is room for all of us to sell your creation of food
But success comes from building your own business, not from spending your time criticizing someone else’s.
