Friends, our Showcase Beer for June has landed!

From Blind Boy Brewing, this Chai Porter is everything we want on a cool Brisbane afternoon. Rich, dark malt meets warming chai spice, with notes of cinnamon, cardamom and a smooth roasty finish that'll have you settling in.

Based here in Brisbane/Magandjin, founder Jacob Viel is an enthusiastic and dedicated brewer who has been brewing for over 10 years. Finding it difficult to break into the industry due to his different ability, he decided to do it himself and set up a micro brewery under his house where he developed and tested his craft with some thirsty mates.

Jacob’s lack of sight only heightens his senses which has allowed him to establish his signature well balanced recipes, winning awards, gaining certified education and now sharing his beers with the Brisbane community.

We're so thrilled to bring Jacob's Chai Porter to the Cave Inn for us all to enjoy. For an extra warming adult sweet treat, we suggest you give this brew a whirl paired with an I Heart Brownies gluten free cherry coconut brownie!
