CUSTOMER NOTICE – FOR FRIDAY 19 JUNE 2026 🍕

Tomorrow night we have a large pre-booked catering order of over 160 pizzas scheduled during our normal dinner service.

We have a full team of 12 staff members working and have made extensive preparations to accommodate the additional demand. However, due to the volume of pizzas being prepared, wait times may be longer than usual throughout the evening.

🍕 We strongly recommend placing orders as early as possible tomorrow night, as our peak dinner periods are expected to be extremely busy.

To maintain the quality and service standards our customers have come to expect, we may need to temporarily pause phone, online or delivery orders at certain times if demand becomes too high.

We apologise for any inconvenience and sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding and continued support of our family business.

We’ve done everything we possibly can to keep our prices as low as possible while continuing to deliver the experience our customers have come to expect from Mario’s Pizza since 1999.

Like many small businesses across Australia, we’ve seen significant increases in the cost of ingredients, wages, utilities such as electricity and gas, fuel, insurance, packaging, supplier costs, payment processing costs and many other day-to-day expenses involved in running a family business.

We’ve worked hard to absorb these increases for as long as possible rather than passing them on to our customers.

However, we can no longer continue absorbing these rising costs without affecting the business.

We could reduce pizza sizes, cut back on toppings, lower ingredient quality, reduce staff hours or cut corners elsewhere.

That’s not the direction we want to take.

We believe our customers would rather see a fair and honest price adjustment than receive a smaller pizza, fewer toppings, lower quality ingredients or reduced service.

Our slogan has always been “Bigger Pizzas with More Toppings,” and we remain committed to delivering exactly that.

As a result, our pricing will be changing from 1 July 2026.

We know nobody likes price increases, and we’re no exception, but we remain committed to serving the pizzas our customers know and love while continuing to support the local team that helps make Mario’s Pizza what it is.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our family business since 1999. We truly appreciate it.

Nearly 25 years apart ❤️🍕

One photo shows a young Mario working beside his mum in the early days of Mario’s Pizza…
The other shows Mario standing in the very same shop beside his daughter nearly two decades later.

Same family.
Same pizza shop.
Same hard work and passion.
Just a new generation continuing the story.

What started as a small family business back in 1999 has become part of the lives of so many local families across Perth. Through late nights, busy weekends, changing times and everything in between, one thing has always stayed the same… the family values behind the counter.

Many long time customers will remember seeing Mario’s mum (Nonna) working in the shop for years. She helped build the business from the ground up with a lot of hard work, sacrifice and love.

Now, as she enjoys retirement, the next generation is stepping in.

These two photos perfectly capture what family businesses are really about. Tradition, memories, loyalty and generations working side by side.

Even the shop itself tells a story.
Different menus.
Different technology.
Different times.

But the heart behind Mario’s Pizza is still exactly the same ❤️

A lot of customers who came here as kids now bring in their own kids for pizza, and moments like this are a reminder of just how special that really is.

Unfortunately the wild weather and power outages this morning caused some unexpected technical issues for us today ⚡️

Our team worked hard behind the scenes to catch up and keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
