Gunners' Barracks was designed by colonial architect James Barnet and constructed in 1873. The building has had many uses over the 140 years in which the military occupied the Middle Head Chowder Bay precinct. October 2005 saw the beginning of a new era with Owner and Operator Manuel Spinola opening the doors as Gunners' Barracks. Nestled within Bushland of Georges Head Mosman, this historic sands

tone building, commands spectacular views of Sydney Harbour's Shipping Channels, Camp Cove, Watsons Bay and Rose Bay. General Manager Mark Holmes, previously of Salt Restaurant drives a team of highly sought after industry professionals to deliver the ultimate fine dining experience. Head Chef Marc Philpott’s passion for serving fresh seasonal Australian produce ensures fine food accompanied by friendly professional service. A la carte lunch is offered Monday to Friday along with a traditional morning and afternoon tea menu available everyday. The venue is available for exclusive breakfast, lunch, full day or evening hire.
