Our guide Nyoman made our week in Bali so easy and convenient. He took us to the best places to eat, including the tastiest street food. Murtabak two ways : sweet and savoury✌️

Savoury with cheese, chicken, mushrooms, herbs, eggs.

‼️‼️Sweet with Pandan, cheese, crushed peanuts and condensed milk. This is one of the best things I've ever eaten. It's a simple pancake but after watching the vendor, it is his cooking technique that makes all the difference. The honeycomb texture gives it the perfect chew. The filling elevates the dish completely. It sounds crazy when you read it but the flavours work so well together.

Both were Ab Fab 🤩

We had a great time eating delicious Balinese food this week.

I've also gone nuts over ...nuts ! We have nut allergies at home so we are a nut-free kitchen. I'm pretty sure I've eaten my weight in peanuts in the seven days I've been in Bali.

I'm returning home inspired and ready to share what we learned with our friends and family.

Today in What I Made Wednesday we will talk about BOLOGNESE CUPS!

I recently enjoyed a taco bowl at the Station Store and I was inspired by it. Coincidentally I had a heap of beef bolognese at home and wanted something different for the kids. So enter bolognese cups.

I cut out some wraps and filled it with macaroni beef bolognese, baked it for 30 mins et voila!

It was delicious and unbeknownst to the children, it was exactly what they've been eating for the last few days 😅
