Do you have a passion for cooking and creating unforgettable guest experiences? Join our team and cook in a unique outdoor kitchen setting, delivering exceptional food and service as part of our immersive River and Rail adventures!

🍳 About the Role
As our Cook, you’ll play a vital role in bringing our hospitality experience to life. From preparing delicious meals and canap?s to baking fresh treats for tour smokos, your food will be part of every guest’s journey. This role is a seasonal role based in Longreach, Qld from April to October 2026.

🌟 Key Responsibilities
* Implement and demonstrate Workplace Health & Safety procedures
* Maintain a clean, organised kitchen and work environment
* Prepare and cook meals, canap?s, and baked goods for River and Rail experiences
* Provide food and beverage service to guests
* Deliver and support outstanding customer service standards
* Work cooperatively within the team to foster a positive, respectful environment
* Assist with additional duties as directed by the Hospitality Manager or Camp Coordinator

✅ What We’re Looking For
* Experience in a cooking/kitchen environment
* Ability to work efficiently and autonomously
* Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
* Comfort working in a unique kitchen set up (including lifting camp ovens up to 10kg)
* Strong teamwork skills and a positive, happy disposition
* Commitment to food safety compliance
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Calm, friendly demeanour with strong communication skills
* Ability to problem-solve and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
