Taverna is looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our team in Kingscliff.

This could be a great opportunity for someone currently studying Commercial Cookery who is keen to get hands-on experience in a professional kitchen, learn from an experienced team and start building their career as a chef.

We’re looking for someone who is:
• Currently studying Commercial Cookery or passionate about becoming a chef
• Reliable, energetic and ready to learn
• Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
• A great team player with a positive attitude

You’ll start by supporting our kitchen team with kitchen hand duties, with the opportunity to learn, develop your skills and take on more responsibilities as you grow.

If you’re excited about food, hospitality and building a career in the kitchen, we’d love to hear from you.

Guests are invited to travel with their tastebuds as Taverna presents a flavour‑packed late‑afternoon gathering inspired by the vibrant energy of Athens and the Greek islands. Expect a generous spread of Greek‑inspired mezedes, paired with Ouzo and Mastiha cocktails and a curated list of Greek varietal wines.

Set on the picturesque, bougainvillea‑draped seaside terrace, the atmosphere is relaxed, social and unmistakably Mediterranean. Bring friends, make it a party, and graze your way through bite‑sized mezedes served from roving platters, all crafted from locally sourced produce reimagined through a modern Greek lens.
