Our monthly cook up will be held this Friday evening from 5.30 .
On the menu will be Jackfruit Curry and dishes using Eggplant and Arrowroot .
Bring a dish to share or give a donation.
All welcome and kids are encouraged to participate .

Garden to Plate Dinner.
Our monthly Garden to Plate dinner will be held this Friday evening from 5. 30 pm.
Join us to prepare and share a delicious meal made from local produce.
The featured produce this time will be the Paw paw ( or Papaya ) a very versatile fruit that can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes.
Children are encouraged to participate .

This lovely female native Carpenter Bee is busy buzzing around a native Crotalaria bush.
These beautiful little bees are important pollinators and are very welcome in the garden.

Wishing everyone a safe and blessed Easter.

A special message to all our friends and supporters. NUC Op Shop and Frillys Cafe will be closed over the Easter weekend. But we are looking forward to seeing everyone as the Op Shop reopens on Friday 10th April from 4-6 And Saturday 11th April 9-12

A big thank you to all who attended our Garden to Plate Dinner on Friday.
As always it was a lovely evening with amazing food and a great community vibe.
The Cassava chips , Sambal , Pavlova and other yummy dishes were a big hit and so was the banana ice cream , and the tasty drink made by our younger participants.

Garden to Plate Dinner
Hi all,
Our monthly get together which we postponed last week will take place this Friday afternoon from 5 pm onwards.
Bring a plate to share or a donation.
We will be cooking Cassava , eggplant and greens from the garden.
This is always a lovely event and a great way to learn about local produce and to get kids involved in gardening .
