We’ve shared plenty of little updates from Wadeye over the past year, but this video pulls the whole story together.

Our role has been to help remove some of the barriers that can make getting a commercial fishing operation off the ground difficult. We’ve been able to provide access to licences and facilitate training and mentoring.

We’ve also helped create a pathway for the team to sell their catch into Darwin through the Darwin Fish Market.

The Sea Farmers have done the hard part, put in all the work and kept those big smiles on their faces right from the very start.

We couldn’t be prouder of the team and are very happy to share their story.

GET CRACKIN’… we certainly did. 🦀
What. A. Night!
34 guests around our Get Crackin’ long table, a full restaurant surrounding them and more crab being cracked than we could count.

But before we share all the fun, we need to give a HUGE shoutout to our incredible Pink Chopstix team. ❤️
From the kitchen pumping out plate after plate, to the floor keeping everyone looked after, the bar keeping the drinks flowing and the legends on dishes keeping up with the chaos — they worked their absolute butts off.
It was busy. It was messy. It was loud. And it was everything we hoped it would be.

To our team, and to every single person who came along and made our first Get Crackin’ such a success — THANK YOU.
