As part of Canberra Whisky Week, Whisky Capital will showcase some of Australia’s and the world’s best whisky distilleries across two all-inclusive sessions on Saturday 27 June 2026. Only at Louie Louie.

Your ticket includes tastings from exhibitor stands, free access to distiller masterclasses, canapés and food by Verity Lane, an exclusive custom whisky gelato by Jasper+Myrtle, a whisky cocktail, and a Glencairn whisky glass to take home.

Sessions run from 1pm–4pm and 5:30pm–8:30pm.

Drag Bingo is back in the Market Hall, and Fieldsy The Drag Queen is bringing the chaos, charisma and main character energy.

Join us this Wednesday 3 June from 6pm, with games kicking off from 6:30pm. Expect five rounds of bingo, performances from our queen Fieldsy, prizes for winners and a very good excuse to make your Wednesday night a whole lot less sensible.

Booklets are $10, bookings are available, and walk-ins are very welcome.

We stopped Andrea, visiting from Sydney, for a very important Verity Lane review.

She ordered the Pho from Petite Saigon, while her fiancé went for the Traditional Korean Fried Chicken from Seoul Chicken.

The verdict?
8.7/10 for the Pho.
8.5/10 for the Chicken.
And a definite yes to coming back.

Extremely respectable scores all round. We love a real-time diner review and a couple who clearly ordered very, very well.
