PJs In The City

PJs In The City Formerly PJ O'Reilly's, PJs in the City is your local pub, located in the heart of Canberra.

Welcome to PJs in the City, a local pub that prides itself on good service, great food and a fantastic range of beers on tap. PJs has been in Canberra for over 20 years now and over the years has built up a great regular clientele of local workers out for a quick lunch right through to others out for a dance on a Friday or Saturday night. PJs bar was designed and built in Dublin and is a warm and friendly meeting place where Canberra’s locals and visitors come together to enjoy the warm friendly atmosphere, great food, all washed down with a nice cold beer or glass of wine in our fantastic beer garden or in the comfort of either of our two bar rooms.

Breaking our own rules for this one. We're opening on a Sunday. 🏆

The NRL Grand Final is LIVE & LARGE at PJs, big screens, cold drinks, and a room full of people who definitely picked their team five minutes ago.

You don't even have to support Sydney Roosters or the Newcastle Knights. Just pick one when you arrive and defend that decision passionately for the next two hours.

Grand Final Sunday. We're opening just for this.

Crunchy on the outside, cheesy in the middle, and impossible to eat politely. 🤝

PJ’s Parmesan Arancini are basically little golden balls of happiness, stuffed with gooey mozzarella and served hot enough to test your patience. Order one plate “for the table” and watch friendships disappear real quick.

The AFL Grand Final is LIVE & LOUD at PJ’s, with the big screens on, pints pouring and an entire afternoon available to become far too invested in the result.

Die-hard supporter? Excellent. Here for the atmosphere and absolutely winging the rules? Also excellent.

Get the crew together and make a day of it. 🍻

This bloke looks pretty passionate about the footy.

Or the b**r’s started making some very convincing arguments. 🍺🏉

Either way, finals are better with mates, a cold one and the game LIVE & LOUD on the big screens at PJ’s.

Round up the crew and lock in a table.

Spring's here, and so are the good drinks. 🌸

Our seasonal cocktail list is calling your name. Think fresh fruit, bright colours, and a little extra flair behind the bar.

So our local legends didn’t make the finals. We’ve had time to process it. We’re moving forward. 😭

The NRL Finals Series will be showing at PJ’s, LIVE & LOUD on the big screens.
Choose a temporary allegiance and get amongst it. 🏉🍻

Because finals footy is still finals footy, and watching it with a cold one in hand is the only way to do it.
