Fresh off the plane from Glasgow, Serena Bonnell paid a visit to our club and was more than happy to let the Wavell High PE students hold her Gold Medal. What an incredible experience for the students to see and hold such an amazing piece of sporting history!

A big thank you to Serena for sharing the moment!

Northern Suburbs Bowls Club proudly part hosted with Club Chermside the Multi Disability Championship competition from 3rd to the 6th August.

We saw many excellent games of bowls throughout the week. Club members were impressed with the many helpers and volunteers from the bowls clubs and Bowls Queensland who willingly organised and assisted the players.

Some of the games were even live streamed.

Welcome both QLD and NSW para teams to northern suburbs bowls club.

Over the next two days they will be playing head to head to see who will make the finals.

Today will consist of both men and women’s pairs and triples.

Good luck to everyone playing and may the best bowls win.

Spectators are always welcome, come down and support the players.
