Samosa Recipe
Ingredients:
2 cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup warm water (add more as needed)
4 tablespoons of cooking oil
For filling: ku used soya chunks you can use your favorite
For flour paste (sealant): 2 tbsp flour, 2 tbsp water
Method ;
1. Mix flour and salt.
2. Add oil, and warm water gradually to form soft dough.
3. Rest dough 15-20 minutes.
4. Divide into 8 equal pieces.
5. Roll each into thin circle.
6. Create 2 sets of layered dough: Take 1 piece, brush with oil, sprinkle flour.
7. Add another, brush with oil, sprinkle flour.
8. Repeat until all 4 circles layered.
9. Repeat with remaining 4.
10. Roll out layered dough, warm in pan (both sides).
11. Separate into individual pieces (8), cut each in half then half again (32 cone-shaped).
12. Fold one side into cone shape, apply flour paste to seal.
13. Cover with another, seal bottom.
14. Add filling, apply flour paste, seal top.
15. Press corners to secure.
16. Heat oil in deep frying pan, fry until golden.
17. Drain excess oil.
18. Optional: Bake at 375°F (190°C) 15-20 minutes.
Tips:
- Adjust filling/spices to taste.
- Gentle touch when layering.
- Seal edges to prevent leakage-
