What can we do for Africa? Actually nothing.

L’Africa è troppo grande, come i suoi cieli e le sue nuvole. Ma l’Africa che noi possiamo aiutare è piccolissima ed è un’Africa che noi conosciamo bene e che funziona. Il ristorante Olga’s nasce nel 2008 a Livingstone (Zambia) per finanziare una scuola di formazione professionale per giovani orfani e vulnerabili di Livingstone e costruito dalla Diocesi di Livingstone e dalla ONG CeLIM alla memoria

di Olga Diappi. Olga Diappi ha sempre amato i progetti coraggiosi e innovativi. Quindi abbiamo voluto trasmettere l’entusiasmo e la passione lasciate da lei, sostenendo un progetto che desse a questi giovani gli strumenti per costruirsi un futuro migliore: Olga's per garantire la sostenibilità economica della scuola e permettere ad un numero maggiore di ragazzi di accedere ai corsi professionali gratuiti. L’entusiasmo per questo progetto ha contagiato molti amici, che attraverso regali di nozze e altre donazioni ci hanno aiutato a far diventare Olga’s una realtà. Africa is too big, as big as its skies and its clouds. All we can do is help a “very small Africa”, the one that we know well and that is doing well. Olga’s restaurant was born in 2008 in Livingstone (Zambia) aiming at financially sustaining a training center for orphans and vulnerable youths from Livingstone. Olga’s was built by the Diocese of Livingstone and the Italian NGO CeLIM, in memory of Olga Diappi. Olga Diappi has always loved brave and innovative projects. In order to guarantee the economical sustainability of the school and to allow a wide number of students to attend vocational courses free, we tried to put Olga Diappi’s enthusiasm and passion in this project. The same enthusiasm has contaminated a lot of friends, that with wedding presents and donations have contributed to make Olga’s a reality.
