You may wonder what the photo is about? That's the potatoes we are currently using for our chips. We don't serve imported European frozen chips we cut our own, supporting job creation and South African Farmers. Last year we proudly purchased 19, 360 kg of local potatoes.

Nothing says "this is our kitchen and we are proud of it" more than this photo. Interesting fact, we have a brigade of 30 staff in the kitchen and 76% are female. This grows to over 40 staff in summer.

Rump is back on the menu for a limited time!

Aged and weighing in at 300g, soft and tender. Across, we have our famous fresh veggies paired with some specialty handcut 'pommes pont-neuf' potato chips that are twice cooked. The second round baked with beef tallow, rosemary and sage. Absolutely morish!

We'll not only cook it to your liking, but at Salinas, we'll allow you to pick the perfect piece, great if you prefer an extra juicy, fatty cut or a leaner slice, we've got you covered! 🥩

The French style cut of the potato chip we've used for the Rump, the Pommes Pont-neuf, is a gold standard for chips. Crispy on the outside and fluffy like a baked potato on the inside.

Named after the oldest bridge in Paris, they originated from the street vendors on the bridge in 1789 serving thick cut potato batons.

Joining our fan favorite fishcakes, we have a limited special.

New, on the left, Asian Salmon Fishcakes. Pan fried and served with a soy, ginger, garlic and sesame oil sauce. Light, aromatic and refreshing.

On the right, our hake, snoek and sweet potato fishcakes. Deepfried in panko breadcrumbs and served with a coriander chutney. This one is wholesome, hearty and has our guests coming back for more!
