Thanks to your amazing support, we now have more than 80,000 handmade poppies ready for Poppies on the Pier! But before the pier can be transformed this November, we need your help to sew the poppies onto the green chains that will line the world’s longest pleasure pier.

✨ How you can get involved:
👉 Sew at home: Collect your supplies (poppies, chains, wool, needles) directly from Southend Pier and sew in your own time.
👉 Join a public sewing session: Drop in, meet others, and be part of the community effort.

Every stitch brings us closer to creating the UK’s largest Remembrance art installation, a powerful tribute to all who served.

We've been very busy counting all the amazing poppies donated in the last few weeks ❤

The poppy-tally has now blossomed to an astonishing 60,691 🙌

We've exceeded our original target by miles! However, we think BIGGER is better, so keep your poppies coming! We've already started to attach the poppies to green chain, but we will need some help. More information will be released next week. 👀
