🚨🚨NEW ANNOUNCEMENT ALERT🚨🚨
Dear Patrons,
It has come to our attention that there are bitter people out there posing as Levels owners/management in a bid to sabotage our working relationships with promoters and other clients. In light of this we would like to make the following announcement and clarifications:
1. For two months from 1 October 2025 to 30 November 2025, Levels Rooftop Cafe was rented out by its sole and original owner Nkululeko Butho Majozi to new tenants who became known as the “new management” of Levels Rooftop Cafe.
2. The new management was granted a rental lease to run Levels for a period of 1 year from October 2025 to September 2026. However, the new management only lasted 2 months (October and November 2025) as tenants of Levels Rooftop Cafe.
3. The new management’s rental contract was cancelled by the owner of Levels Rooftop Cafe, Nkululeko Butho Maiozi, in November 2025 after the new management violated one of the main clauses of their lease contract. That is, the new management failed to renew the venue’s liquor license on time as agreed in their lease contract and after several reminders by the owner of Levels to the new management about the due date for payment of the liquor license renewal.
4. After failing to renew the liquor license on time, the new management tried to operate Levels with an expired liquor license. Doing so would have put the venue liquor license at risk of being rescinded or revoked by the Gauteng Liquor Board. It is after such attempts by the new management to operate Levels with an expired liquor license that the owner of Levels, Nkululeko Butho Majozi, took the decision to cancel the lease contract of the new management and take over operations with immediate effect from 1 December 2025.
5. As of 1 December 2025, Levels Rooftop Cafe is back under the management of its sole and original owner, Nkululeko Butho Majozi. The so called “new management” are no longer renting Levels and are no longer part of the operational management of Levels Rooftop Cafe.
6. All communications whether it be venue bookings, DJ slots requests, Christmas Party bookings, birthday celebration bookings, etc. are handled strictly through the following whatsapp number 0726287941 and email address: [email protected]
7. Please do not be fooled by anyone else calling you or texting you from any other different number to the one listed above acting as the owner or posing as being part of the management of Levels Rooftop Cafe!
