MJ’s Restaurant & Deli – Vaalwater

MJ’s Restaurant & Deli is looking for an experienced, qualified and reliable Senior Kitchen Chef to join our team.

REQUIREMENTS

• Relevant chef qualifications
• Proven professional kitchen experience
• Experience with the type of food served at MJ’s, including steaks, grills, traditional dishes, burgers, seafood, pasta and general à la carte restaurant meals
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen and maintain consistent food quality
• Good knowledge of food preparation, portion control, hygiene and kitchen standards
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
• Must be reliable, responsible and able to work under pressure
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends and Sundays according to the shift roster
• Must live in Vaalwater or be willing to relocate to Vaalwater
• References from previous employers will be required

INTERVIEWS

Interviews will be conducted in person in Vaalwater.

Applicants must be willing and able to travel to Vaalwater for the interview.

No telephonic interviews will be conducted.

💰 Salary: Negotiable, based on qualifications and experience.
