Another memorable, happy evening, celebrating a special human on his 80th birthday…in beautiful Yzerfontein.

From the moment I walked into the home I felt warmth, family love and celebration. The laughs, the rugby game, the bubbly…it all formed a special part of a weekend that I was so looking forward to.
A delicious family style dinner that ended with a beautiful cake and more festivity.

A heartfelt thank you to Jamie & Monique for their warmth, kindness, love and making the whole experience so special.

Another one for my memory bank!

This post is long overdue…but rather late than never!

Mind-blowing Food & Wine Tasting Dinner

On 6 August I attended a food & wine tasting dinner, and I’m still thinking about it.
Every course, thoughtfully crafted, the flavors were incredible, and the wine pairings were spot-on.
Each bite, a new discovery.
From the first pour from Holden Manz Wine Estate to the final course, the experience was seamless and genuinely elevated.

Big shoutout to Ian and his team at Mantra Café - this was more than just dinner… it was a full sensory experience.
If you ever get the chance to go, do it. You won’t be disappointed!

Great venue, great service, great vibe and a beautiful location!

Not to mention the amazing company I was surrounded with!

Thanks Ian! We will be back sooner than you think!

I love good food although I don’t always feel like spending hours in the kitchen.

Delicious, satisfying meals doesn’t have to take long…with the right ingredients and a little bit of time you can have a delectable meal on the table in no time.

Last nights dinner hit the spot!

Yogurt, garlic, lemon & masala marinated chicken thigh kebabs with couscous and a fresh, crisp garden salad.

Light, simple, delicious.
