he best way to reheat pizza (so it tastes fresh again) is actually super simple—and most people don’t do it right.
🔥 Best method: Pan (stovetop) — crispy + melty
This is widely considered the #1 method because it brings back both the crispy base and gooey cheese.
How to do it:
Put pizza in a dry pan (no oil)
Heat on medium for 2–3 minutes (bottom gets crispy)
Add a few drops of water to the pan (not on the pizza)
Cover with a lid for ~1–2 minutes
👉 Result: crispy base + perfectly melted cheese (almost like new)
🔥 Second best: Oven — great for multiple slices
How to do it:
Preheat to 180°C (350°F)
Put pizza on a tray
Heat for 8–10 minutes
👉 Best if you’ve got a few slices to warm up
👉 Comes out evenly heated with a nice crust
⚡ Quick option: Air fryer — fast + crispy
180–200°C for 3–5 minutes
Great for 1–2 slices
Very crispy finish
❌ Worst method: Microwave (only if desperate)
Makes pizza soggy or rubbery
Heats unevenly
👉 If you must:
Add a cup of water next to it
Heat in short bursts
🧠 Bottom line
Best overall: Pan/skillet (crispy + juicy + fast)
Best for many slices: Oven
Best quick crispy fix: Air fryer
Avoid: Microwave (unless you’re in a rush)
