Not my usual content, but I wanted to share these Sunday Lunch sides I made for a braai. It was super easy to make and the only thing that was slightly time consuming was the bread knots.
The Asian Slaw is a crunchy salad that’s perfect for summer time. All you need is purple cabbage, cabbage, spring onions, radishes, roasted peanuts and some micro herbs. Once ready to serve, toss with a fresh lemon vinaigrette. This salad is super simple and really quick to make as well!

Throwback to this gorgeous cake I baked a while ago. Layers of vanilla coconut cake with a coconut pastry cream and a white chocolate buttercream. Thinking back I’m craving another slice (or two).
I love being in the kitchen and I’m always looking for new things to cook and bake. It’s almost the 1st of September, which means a brand new season and a brand new seasonal menu. Here’s some delicious SAVOURY content for the weekend!
These little Big Mac sliders was perfect for a casual lunch at home and they were absolutely divine. I made a brioche dough for the little buns and found an amazing recipe for a Big Mac sauce that taste just like the original, but better, because these homemade “takeaways” are not processed or loaded with preservatives.

COCONUT 🥥

Moist coconut vanilla cake layered with a coconut pastry cream and white chocolate buttercream. I finished the cake off with some toasted coconut flakes and wow, this was one of the best cakes I have ever had.

Throwback to this beautiful dessert I made a while ago. Layers of crispy puff pastry, whipped cream, crème pat, fresh strawberries, blueberries and edible flowers. What’s better than a warm and fluffy cinnamon bun on a cold winter day (or any day actually). I’ve experimented and have found the perfect recipe.
