❤️ TODAY REMINDED ME JUST HOW BLESSED I AM! ❤️

Today was one of those days that truly shows you what your team is made of! 🥹❤️

Our head chef, Zama, is enjoying a well-deserved two-week break, our kitchen assistant, Gogo, had her scheduled day off, and I found myself in the kitchen having to manage all the orders myself. We were BUSY, to say the least! 🙈😂

But what happened next filled my heart with so much gratitude.

Our barista, Breeh, became a chef, our server, Nokwanda, became a barista, our pizza chef, Weston, became a server, and our newest recruit, Tandeka, who has only been with us for FOUR DAYS on trial, jumped right in without being asked — washing dishes, emptying bins, wiping tables and helping wherever needed. ❤️

No complaints. No hesitation. No “that's not my job.” Just a team pulling together, supporting one another and doing whatever it took to get the job done. 🙌

THIS is teamwork. THIS is commitment. THIS is HEART. ❤️

As the owner of this little suburban cafe, I couldn't be prouder. A business is only as good as the people behind it, and today my team reminded me that I have something truly special.

To each and every one of you — thank you for stepping up, for having each other's backs, and for caring about this little business as much as you do. You made a challenging day so much easier, and I hope you know how much I appreciate you. 🥹❤️

I may be the owner, but days like today remind me that we're in this together.

I don't just have staff. I have a TEAM. And I am one very blessed owner! 🙏❤️

Did someone ask for an EGG-FREE lemon meringue? 👀🍋

Well… we may have only gone and nailed it! 😏

Our signature torched Italian meringue sitting proudly on top of that creamy, tangy, lemony goodness… 🔥🍋

And the best part? Completely egg-free! 🙌

Yep… somehow we’ve managed to make lemon meringue without the eggs. 😂

Just a little heads-up: these beauties need a bit more setting time than our usual lemon meringue, so we need 24 hours’ notice for orders, please! 💛
