From feeling like an “inkommer” to creating spaces of connection.

These moments-shared around tables, in conversation, and in creativity- reminded me that belonging isn’t something we wait for… it’s something we create together.

Thank you to everyone who showed up, created, laughed, and shared parts of themselves-crafters, kunstenaars, kreatiewe rekenmeesters, jonk en ou(er) studente wat hul harte, stories en lewenspaaie saam met my gedeel het.

Thank you to Klein Karoo National Arts Festival KKNK for the platform,
Ebony & Ivory - Restaurant and your incredible team for the beautiful space and professional guest interaction, and Ash Digital (Aishah Ash Malik) for the support behind the scenes and the incredible footage.

These were more than just broochmaking workshops. They were about fostering connection. As one participant said, “just watch what’s going to happen, this is not the end. Be excited!”
