Milk on the Beach

Situated on the estuary of the Onrus river with panoramic views of the Atlantic ocean and Overberg.

Milk on the Beach is idyllically set in a nature conservation area in Onrus near the coastal town of Hermanus. The nature reserve setting provides guests with the opportunity to observe the wild life in action, as well as the luxury of a fabulous ocean view. The wooden deck for outdoor dining is perched on the river bank, which makes for a great sundowner spot.

Nothing beats settling in by the fireplace with a rich hot chocolate after a freezing ocean dip. Winter by the sea has its own kind of magic.

And with that our waffle bar will be operating only on the weekends. However our main restaurant will be open as usual.

The storm has taken its toll, thus due to damage, power outage and the overall safety of our staff we will be closed today 11 May 2026. We will open again on Tuesday 12 May from 8am.
