Farewell & Thank You
As our doors close for the final time, our hearts are full of gratitude.
What began as a pub became so much more than a place to meet. It became a home for laughter, friendship, stories, celebrations, and unforgettable memories.
To every customer, friend, family member, biker, traveler, and local who shared a drink, a smile, or a moment with us—thank you. You helped create a community that we will cherish forever.
Though the pub may be closing, the friendships made and memories shared will remain with us always.

Hi there to all our biker and others friends, I'm sure you all heard about the sad news... 😭
As we do not have electricity power any more as the cable was taken out accidentally by the mine, and so unfortunately this is still Mine property as it always was. Their safety and health protocols came now into place as they are currently very active at this stage with operational works all over this property.
Please, it may be this weekend our last come together without electricity please note....

We Wil only serve Boerewors Rolls @ Potato salad this weekend... @ R50
Please RSVP. before 09/07/2026....by a Yes =?? Just to insure you to have te best Boerewors Roll.. only as the Grutte team can prepare it!!!!!
And came have a last drink on the Grutte/Grotte🍻

Important Announcement..
After many great memories and moments, we had to make the difficult decision to close our doors once and for all.
This coming weekend on the 11th and 12th of July, it will our Final Weekend of being with you all.
We would LOVE to see you one last time, to raise a glass, share some laughter and all our good times together.
