Die Damhuis Restaurant Die Damhuis is the oldest building in Melkbosstrand and used to be a private homestead next to a dam. Patrons are locals, visitors and people passing through.

Damhuis Restaurant, proudly housed in a 240-year-old heritage building, is known for fresh seafood, South African cuisine, and the warm, coastal atmosphere locals love. The building has been declared a National Monument and has been restored to its former glory to accommodate a restaurant on the beachfront. Only Beach Road lies between Die Damhuis and the main Melkbos Beach. To be enjoyed by young and old together.
