DAY ONE: DONE!

And we're off!

Louise & Cameron officially started the Imagine Challenge yesterday and cracked out just over 4.5 km each for our first walk.

Louise: 4.56 km
Cameron: 4.51 km
Day 1 total: 9.07 km

Not a bad start towards our initial 100 km each... although how far we actually have to walk is still partly in your hands.

Remember, every R100 donated adds another 1 km, and you decide whether it goes to Louise or Cameron.

WE’RE HIRING | COMMIS CHEF

We’re looking for a reliable, hard-working Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at Seagulls.

This is a hands-on junior kitchen role, working alongside our line chefs and Head Chef. We’re looking for someone with previous commercial kitchen experience or formal culinary training, basic kitchen skills, and most importantly, someone who is keen to learn and develop.

You’ll be involved in food prep, supporting different kitchen stations during service, stock rotation, kitchen hygiene and helping the team keep service running smoothly.

You’ll need to be:
- Calm and efficient under pressure
- Reliable and willing to learn
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen
- Available for shifts including evenings, weekends and public holidays
