We have been to the Bohemian Grove Café quite a number of times. It has always been one of our favourites. This weekend, for the first time we took our dogs. We booked our table, then went walking. We came back to the Cafe and our dogs had water in bowls and dog beds waiting for them. And there was a doggie menu!! Never mind the dogs the humans had yet another lovely experience and we thoroughly enjoyed Voodoo Kudu's music. Thank you!

Bohemian Groove Cafe recently offered a training course to all Kaapsehoop employed restaurant staff to qualifiy as professional cooks. The invitation was extended to any worker who is employed by the hospitality industry in Kaapsehoop, and a total of 14 students enrolled in July 2024, employed by Bohemian, Salvador and Silver Mist. Sadly most of them dropped out along the way, but Bohemian proudly can anounce that 4 of our staff members completed the course in June 2025 and received their Cathsseta accredited National Certificates in Professional Cookery NQF Level 4. We are extremely proud of our staff members who worked tiredlessly until late at night, after their shifts, to study and to complete their assessments. Chevonne Fourie was always on hand to assist and explain, her help was extremely instrumental in their success, thank you! We salute the four ladies for their effort and determination, congratulations to Velli Ngobeni, Lydia Ndlozi, Sinky Koza and Promise Khoza! We thank Trudie Marais and the Learning Development Group for initiating and sponsoring this project, and Proserv South Africa who executed the course, sending a moderator every month to stay with us for three days to teach our pupils in the restaurant, on their off days when the restaurant was closed.
