From 1 June, our Winter Trading hours will be:
⏰ Monday – Sunday
08:00 – 14:00 daily

We’ll still be here every day serving delicious coffee, comforting soups, sweet treats, hearty breakfasts, and all the cosy vibes you know and love.✨

I have many favourite customers who visit Sam's World of Coffee but I can't help placing Uncle Harvie (95) and Tannie Tertia at the very top of my list of special coffee visits and love. ☕️🩷

Okay, let me share with you: Uncle Harvie walks daily, loves gardening, and enjoys cooking. He loves reading and loves his sport. He loves to tell me he is healthy and does everything for himself.

Tannie Tertia drives only because Uncle Harvie has chosen not to drive. He often reminds me that life choices are all about the decisions and choices we make daily. God is his centre point every day of living, and he has strong values and beliefs of honesty and trust.

Your sharp mind and beautiful heart show that age is only a number, Uncle Harvie.

Uncle Harvie has a mind filled with incredible knowledge, wisdom, and stories. From his Stellenbosch days to the beginning of Kromco Apple Farm in Elgin many years ago, every visit brings beautiful memories and conversations that not only inspire me but also the customers he meets at Sam's. 🫶

Uncle Harvie and Tannie Tertia, you are so very special to me. Thank you for your love, your support, and for visiting Sam's every week. Your children and family continue to show us the same love and support, and it means more to me than words can say.

Today we celebrate one of our wonderful Sam’s team members — Raynen! 😬🎊🙌🏼

Originally from Stellenbosch and now proudly calling Hermanus home since 2012, Raynen is currently in his third year of studying Computer Science online through AIT- something we are all incredibly proud of.

When he’s not working hard or studying, you’ll probably find him outdoors surfing, running, or hiking. He loves being outside and embracing all the beauty our town has to offer. 🌊 ⛰️

Raynen says his favourite thing about working at Sam’s is the amazing team and management, and how we’ve all become one big family, and honestly, we feel exactly the same about him! 🫶🏻

Always smiling, positive, friendly, and kind, Raynen is loved by so many customers and staff alike.

For those who may not know me yet, I’m Sam, owner of Sam’s World of Coffee. ☕️

I’m a small-town girl at heart who loves people, beautiful coffee shops, gardening, fresh flowers, chocolates, the ocean, and of course… really good coffee!

My family means everything to me, and creating a warm, welcoming space where people feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for has always been my dream.

Sam’s World of Coffee was built with love, passion, and heart, and every customer who walks through our doors becomes part of that story. 🫶🏻

One thing I truly love most? Making women feel loved, special, and beautiful. 💗💗💗
