Heads up, space cadets!
Due to the extreme rain we’re experiencing here in George, we’ve decided to ground our ship for the rest of the day. For the safety of our crew and guests, Rocket Bistro will be closing early and won’t be open this evening (Thursday, 7th May).
We are so sorry for any inconvenience this causes your dinner plans! Please stay safe, warm, and dry out there tonight.

George is currently facing a serious water crisis, with heavy water restrictions in place. At Rocket Coffee Shop, we’re committed to doing our part to help conserve this precious resource.
To reduce water usage, we’ve made a small but meaningful change in-store:
Hand towels have been replaced with paper towels, helping us save the water needed to wash and sanitise reusable cloths.
We know it’s the little actions that add up. We encourage our community to join us in being mindful — at home, at work, and when you’re out and about.
