💬 We’d Love to Know...

What’s the one thing you always stop for when visiting Baddaford?

Is it a freshly baked treat, one of our homemade pies, a good cup of coffee, something special from the pantry, or perhaps a wander through the nursery? 🌿☕

Everyone has their Baddaford favourite, and we’d love to hear yours.

🥧 This or That: Baddaford Bake Edition 🍋

Did you know that many of the sweet treats on our counter are baked right here at Baddaford?

From familiar favourites to something a little more indulgent, there’s usually more than one tempting choice waiting for you. But today, we’re making you choose. 👀

Milk Tart or Lemon Meringue?

Spring has officially arrived, and Baddaford is showing it. 🌱

The nursery is coming alive, the fruit trees are blossoming, and there’s that unmistakable feeling of a new season beginning.

Here’s to warmer days, colourful gardens, fresh growth, and a little more time spent outdoors. ☀️🌼

From all of us at Baddaford, Happy Spring Day!

🌸 Spring is starting to show at Baddaford! 🌿

The first signs of spring are here, and our nursery is starting to come alive again.

There are lovely new plants and seedlings to discover, fresh flower pots to browse, and our fruit trees are beginning to blossom beautifully too. 🌱🌸

If the warmer days have you thinking about getting back into the garden, now’s a lovely time to come and take a wander through the nursery.

New growth, fresh colour, and plenty of inspiration for the season ahead. ☀️

🥧 Apparently, there’s a pie ranking system…

We had a rather unexpected Baddaford moment in Makhanda recently.

A chance conversation with someone turned to food, then pies and before we knew it, we discovered that he takes his pies very seriously.

So seriously, in fact, that he has his own pie ranking system. 😂

And according to him, Baddaford’s pies rank amongst some of the best he’s ever had.

Now, we don’t know the official criteria, how many pies have been tested, or just how competitive these rankings are… but we’ll happily take it. 🏆🥧

Our pies are made fresh right here at Baddaford, from the pastry to the fillings, and hearing things like this out in the wild really does make our day.

If you haven’t tried one yet, perhaps it’s time to see what all the fuss is about. 😉

Pop in, grab your favourite, and enjoy it while it’s fresh.

🍊 Have You Tried a Blood Orange? ❤️

They may look like an ordinary orange on the outside, but cut one open and you'll discover something truly special.

With their deep crimson flesh and sweet, berry-like flavour, blood oranges are one of the highlights of citrus season. They're delicious on their own, fantastic in fresh juice, and the perfect addition to salads, desserts, or simply enjoyed as a healthy snack.

They're only around for a short time, so if you've never tried one before, now's your chance.

Pop in and grab a few while they're in season!
