Permanently closed.

The Oxford Arms Building was built in the early 1800s and, along with our neighbours, is the oldest remaining building in Durbanville. It is thought that the building was originally built as a bakery and residence. After several renovations, it was used as a private school for girls in the early and mid-1900s, and was later declared a national monument in 1989. It was modified to operate as a tave

rn in the late 1980s and still boasts the original doors and windows. Offering several inside and outside seating areas, including the renovated smoking bar (originally an outhouse), the Oxford Arms is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a good meal and a refreshing drink.
