UPDATE: The van has been SOLD!
We are selling our coffee van! It would be perfect for anyone looking to start their own coffee/food truck business as all the conversions have already been done. Kombi includes full electrical installation with mini DV, 60L water tank with washing up basin, flowjet pump with 25L water tank for connecting to coffee machine. The roof opens up completely with hydraulic struts, and there is a side hatch that opens to become a serving counter. It is licensed and in running order but will need a little work to get COR. All good things must come to an end, and it is with a very heavy heart that we need to announce that Zebru Coffee Company will be closing permanently on Sunday 28th November 2021.

After much consideration, we have come to the conclusion that the business is unfortunately not viable with the low volume of visitors to the Stainbank reserve, and with us only being able to open on weekends.

When we started Zebru in July 2020, our hope was that the number of visitors to the reserve would increase, and thus number of potential customers would increase, but sadly this has not happened to the degree that we had hoped for.

This was an incredibly difficult decision to make, and we have taken professional advice and explored various possible avenues, but the relatively remote location of the business persistently presents a hindrance to its ability to become profitable.

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who has visited and supported us, especially the awesome crew of loyal regulars who helped prop us up this long - we cannot express the level of our appreciation for your support. You know who you are and you all rock!

To those regulars who had personalised mugs printed to reduce environmental impact, we would love it if you could pop by to fetch your mug and have a final cup of coffee with us. If you can't make it before we close next Sunday, please ask a friend to collect your mug or get in touch with us to arrange for it to be sent to you.

As a gesture of thanks to our loyal supporters, your first cup of coffee will be on the house on closing day (Sunday, 28 November). We hope to see you there!

Baristas come in all shapes, sizes, and ages apparently! Don't forget that we are now located in the garden outside Coedmore Castle, just follow the signs...and the smell of coffee 😉☕ We also have a new item on the menu...delicious Indian Chai Lattes 🤤

We're moving! From this weekend onwards, our van will be stationed outside Coedmore Castle. Come and find us! We will be open from Friday (Heritage Day) to Sunday this weekend.

On Friday, we will be welcoming the Beloved Long Runs trail runners. There will be 3 distances to choose from that are well marked out , 5/7 & 10km's.

Run starts at 7am, starting and finishing at the Castle. Reserve gate opens at 6am, free entry to all BLR runners, follow the signs from the gate to the Castle.

We will be offering a BLR Special - Cappuccino & crunchie for R30.

NO cost for the run either, so bring the whole family for a picnic! If your family arrives later, normal gate fees apply R20 for kids and R40 for adults.
