We had a 70th here the other day. Three generations, one long table, and not a quiet moment in sight.

There was pasta going around, someone topping up glasses, kids disappearing and reappearing, and a few speeches that went on longer than planned (as they should).

It didn’t feel like an “event”. It felt like a family lunch that just happened to have a bit more space and someone else doing the cooking.

As the confetti settles and the last of the champagne is poured, we’re looking back on another incredible wedding season with full hearts (and very busy kitchens).

This past Saturday was the perfect finale. From the first tray of canapés to the late-night bites, it was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do. While the "official" season is wrapping up, the memories of every clinked glass and shared platter are staying with us. Introducing Bistro Night at The Homestead!

That’s right - we’re officially bringing back our Winter Pop-Up Dinners, and let’s just say the kitchen is already smelling like a giant hug for your belly. We’re talking gastronomic classics, candlelit tables, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you forget it’s 12 degrees outside.

Starting May 15th, we’ll be hosting you every Friday night through the end of July. It’s the perfect winter escape for lovers, families and friends.

Ten years ago, we opened these doors with a simple dream: to create a space that felt like a giant, warm hug (that also happened to serve incredible food). From the very first "I do" under our trees to the thousands of milestone birthdays and "just because" lunches, every corner of this place is soaked in your stories.

We’re looking back today with so much gratitude and looking forward with even more excitement. Here’s to a decade of memories, and many more years of being your favourite "home away from home."

They say time flies when you’re having fun (and washing a mountain of dishes), but looking back over nearly three decades, our hearts and our aprons are completely full.

From the first nervous catering gig in 1998 to the incredible celebrations we host at The Homestead today, it has been one wild, delicious ride.

We’re still thinking about Pippa and Patrick’s beautiful day. The kind of soft, golden weather that makes you slow down a little. Laughter drifting through the garden. Tables filled with good food and even better company. And the quiet, special moments in between that no one else really sees.

It was one of those days that reminded us why we love what we do so much. Thank you, Pippa and Patrick, for trusting us with something so personal. It was an absolute joy to celebrate with you.
